Left Coast Press, Inc. is all about you. Yes, we sell our books to libraries, to bookstores, to other institutions, but basically we're trying to reach the individual reader like you. That is why:
- Almost all of our books are available in paperback editions.
- The prices are pretty reasonable too.
- All orders from our website are 15% off the list price, making them even cheaper.
- We'd rather you order directly from us. That allows us to build a direct relationship with you to keep you informed on things we publish that might be of interest. As we publish fairly extensively in a very small number of fields, a relationship to a customer like you is very important to us. While we will keep your contact information, we don't give it out or sell it to third parties.
- We publish lots of really researchy things, but we also have books that are lighter reading for academics, things you might buy for yourself and read: books of quotations, the occasional academic novel, guidebooks on professional skills, books with a sense of humor.
- We'd like to stay in touch, so even if you don't want to buy anything, contact us with your areas of interest so we can keep you informed.
- We also provide information through Facebook and Twitter if you want to be a fan or a follower.
If you don't want to order online from this website, we can also be reached in a host of other ways - mail, email, phone, fax. Please order from the distributor in your region.
