Heritage Management

In this issue of Heritage Management we focus on changing relationships among indigenous communities and heritage managers. Most managerial institutions have colonialist pasts that inevitably color partnering relationships. Recently, however, a multitude of arrangements, practices, and procedures are being tried, from partnerships to community-run cultural resource management companies to host/guest relationships. Here we present some history, some success stories, and many resources.
