Co-editor Robin L. Hughes is assistant professor in the department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Indiana University, Indianapolis/Bloomington, where she assists in coordinating the Higher Education Student Affairs (HESA) master's degree program. Her research areas include the development of student athletes participating in revenue-generating sports; struggles for equality by students and faculty of color; and the retention, recruitment and experiences of African-American students in college.

Co-editor James W. Satterfield recently joined the faculty at Eugene T. Moore School of Education at Clemson University. His research foci include the organization and development of K-16 education as it relates to sports, society and individuals, and the relationships between institutional structure and culture and their affects on student athletes.
